Yarra Valley Singers is fortunate in engaging current musical director Jo Blankfield to conduct the choir. Jo is ably assisted in 2009 by pianist Edwin Chow.
About Jo Blankfield...
Joanne has been voice training since the age of ten and was a member of The Australian Girls Choir. She is studying for her Bachelor of Music ,Performance in voice . Joanne not only has a has a strong and vibrant singing voice , but has other musical skills. She also plays oboe, piano and percussion instruments.
Jo's preferred composers are Mozart and Stephen Schartz.
