Yarra Valley Singers
The choir is based in Lilydale, but members come from the outer eastern suburbs and hills as well as the Yarra Valley. Our vision statement includes having fun, sharing our love and knowledge of music and being challenged to develop our voices and skills so that we can give a number of excellent performances each year.
We do not hold auditions and being able to sight read music is not a pre-requisite. However, members do need to be able to hold a part. Most songs are in four parts and our directors work with each part separately for part of each rehearsal as well as providing practice CDs.
